Midfielder makes switch from La Liga to Serie A

Inter Milan have officially signed Argentina midfielder Ever Banega from Sevilla.

The statement confirming the signing was made this morning confirmed the Boca Juniors academy graduate had chosen to commit to Roberto Mancini’s Nerazzurri until June 30, 2019.

Banega was able to join any club of his choosing after becoming a free agent this summer.

Banega has played in the Copa Libertadores with both Boca Juniors and Newell’s Old Boys and then played in European competitions with Valencia, Atletico Madrid and Sevilla. He’s appeared 75 times in the Europa League and has two trophies to his name from the competition.

In addition, he has an Olympic Gold Medal with the Argentinian team.

Many see this as a fantastic move for Inter, as Banega works hard and fits in perfectly with their style of play.
