Icardi and Kovacic have been recieving interest from the Premier league for quite a while now. Icardi, who is valued at £28 million, has been linked with Spurs, Chelsea and even Liverpool.

Kovacic on the other hand has been linked with Arsenal, Manchester United and also Liverpool.

Inter director Piero Fassone told Corriere dello Sport: “I’ve learned that no player is off the market in football, it doesn’t work that way. It’s possible to keep Icardi and Kovacic although there are other clubs have more appeal than us.”

“Inter can compensate with the motivation we give players, with the opportunity to grow that we can give them. I’m confident that Icardi, Kovacic and Dodo want to stay with us.”

“If then a big club arrives that wants them, at some point it would be right to make them happy.”

“The extensions? Ausilio has met with Handanovic, Kovacic and Icardi’s agents, there are the conditions to arrive to an agreement with all three.”

“It makes me optimistic to see to see that the players want to stay.”
