Jadon Sancho’s move to Manchester United is all but off.
The player missed the last two games for Borussia Dortmund giving birth to rumors that a late deal might be on the cards for the player.
United have been extremely unplanned and lazy and confused in their chase for the England international.
Dortmund set the price for the winger early on the in the summer and gave United a deadline of 10th August, 2020 to finalize a deal for £108 million.
However, United not only ignored the date, but have failed to make any impact on the situation whatsoever.
Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc has drawn the curtains now on the matter.
“Everything there is to tell on this matter from our end has already been said,” Zorc said on Friday. “And that won’t change over the next three days.”
United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer also sounded exasperated and less than hopeful about any deadline day deal going down.
“They [United] know my view,” he said. “The transfer window is still open for a little while. If something happens in or out you will get to know.”
It now remains to be seen what comes up in the next 24 hours.
