AC Milan plotting summer move for Manchester United flop Memphis Depay.
AC Milan are lining up a bid for Man United flop Memphis Depay – who could cost them £25m.
Winger Depay arrived at Old Trafford thanks to much of his fanfare in June 2015, when they held off competition from a number of clubs to land him from PSV Eindhoven. But he struggled for 18 difficult months at Man United, starting 16 Premier League games and scoring just twice.
The Old Trafford outfit sold him on to Lyon in January 2017 when Jose Mourinho was in charge.
Depay has since got his career back on track in France. The 24-year-old has bagged 14 times in 44 appearances in Ligue 1 and now he is finally a wanted man once more.
According to Italian transfer reports, AC Milan are hoping to land him when the summer transfer window opens. Lyon are keen to keep hold of him given his current form in the south of France but it has been suggested that they would be open to selling for around £25million.
