Arsenal target Stephan El Shaarawy has dropped a hint that he may be on his way to the Premier League in the summer.
The AC Milan forward has recently revealed that he is ‘pleased’ that the Gunners are interested in him: ‘My goal is to get back as soon as possible.
‘The interest of Arsenal surely gratifies me but my goal is to return to Milan and do well at Milan.’
The Milan giants have had a poor season by their high standards, and currently lie in a lowly 10th position in Serie A, and depsite being out injured since January, El Shaarawy may well see this as a reason to move to another top European club.
The 22-year-old Italian has played at national level, all the way from under-16’s, right up to the full squad.
Although still ‘up and coming’, El Shaarawy is considered to be a potentially world-class player, and one of the most promising and talented young Italian players on the European scene.
The Emirates would be a good home for his talent if he decided to make the move.
