Remi Garde forces youngster to train with U-21s

Aston Villa star Jack Grealish has been dropped from the first-team and has been forced to train with the reserves following his antics hours after the 4-0 defeat to Everton.

Grealish was spotted in a Manchester nightclub following the Premier League defeat to the Toffees, and new manager Remi Garde has confirmed that he will be punished for his unprofessional antics.

The 20-year-old will now not be involved in this weekend’s game with Watford and Garde has confirmed that he will continue to monitor Grealish’s behaviour over the next few weeks.

Punishment for Grealish

“You have to behave as a professional and it was not the case this time for Jack,” said Garde.

“He will not play with us, which is already a big punishment for a player. Now we will see the next step.”

Garde however did refuse to say how long the midfielder would be with the under-21s, adding: “Jack knows, but it is staying private with him and with me.”

This isn’t the first time Villa have had issues with Grealish as images were revealed of him past out abroad on holiday during pre-season earlier this year.
