Midfielder wants to hold talks about his future
Arsenal star Jack Wilshere wants to hold future talks with Arsene Wenger in order to discuss the role he’s likely to have next season.
The midfielder has struggled with injuries over the past few years, and with the emergence of Aaron Ramsey and Francis Coquelin, as well as Santi Cazorla and Mesut Ozil, there is a lot of competition for places in the heart of Arsenal‘s midfield.
Wilshere returned to football at the end of last season, but had to settle for a place on the bench.
However, he featured in the last game of the Premier League campaign against West Bromwich Albion, where he scored a stunner, and he continued that form for international duty as he netted a superb brace for England.
Despite showing what he can do, Wenger has admitted that due to the amount of central-players the club have, natural midfielders may have to spend some game-time on the wing.

“They will all tell you they want to play centrally. Unfortunately, some have to go wide as well.”
Wilshere Wants Talks
Wilshere was then asked about his future and where he’ll feature next season, and he admitted that he will have talks with Wenger before the season starts.
Wilshere said: “I haven’t spoken to him but I will do before the start of the season.
“I’m just concentrating on getting fit.”
The midfielder has been strongly linked with a move to Manchester City.
