After adding Mesut Ozil to their squad int he summer, Arsenal are looking to add another big name to their ever-growing squad. Jackson Martinez has been shortlisted as a main target by Arsene Wenger, and is thought to be keen on the move to The Gunners.
‘I think there will be a chance of a move in the summer,’ he said.
‘I’m happy at Porto, but it would be nice to play in another big club. I like the English league – this is well known of course.’
Having scored 39 goals in 47 matches after moving to Europe, Martinez will be on a lot of manager’s wish lists come summer. Arsenal are thought to be in the driving seat to land his signature however, as it is well known that Jackson Martinez gre up a huge supporter of The Gunners.
He would certainly be a good addition to Arsenal’s current squad should the move happen, but only time will tell.
