Striker set for move to Premier League
Arsenal are clear to sign Jackson Martinez after the striker’s agent confirmed that he will leave Porto this summer.
The Colombia international is at the top of Arsene Wenger’s transfer target list and the Gunners are in advanced negotiations with a representative of his, Henrique Pompeo, and he revealed that he now has Jorge Mendes under his wing in an attempt for the forward to leave the Portuguese club.
Mendes is one of the most known agents in world football due to him playing a pivotal role in big money moves.

Pompeo is pleased to be working alongside Mendes, he said: “It’s a situation that honours us and that will not harm anyone. On the contrary Jorge Mendes’ input in this process to benefit all.
“Mendes is the ideal partner to any transfer.” he added.
Formal Bid
The Reds are prepared to offer an initial bid of £24.7million for Martinez.
