Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher, has dropped a hint that he would like the managerial job at Anfield in the future.
Now working for Sky Sports as a pundit, Carragher retired from the game in 2013 and despite recently admitting he’d love to return to the field, he has now hinted that he would be interested in replacing Brendan Rodgers as the manager.
Carragher was recently asked about Liverpool and about his future, and he admitted that his love for the club is still there, and he’d never say no to an opportunity to work at Anfield.
Carragher explained: “I still love my club.
“I’m still passionate about it and maybe in the future if a job came up, or if the club wanted me involved… but it’s not something I think about on a daily basis.
“I got to the match with my dad and son but that’s as far as it goes.
“I’ve got other things to focus my energy on.”
