Jermain Defoe has dismissed transfer speculation that he could be joining Harry Redknapp’s new team, Queens Park Rangers and also states he wants to end his career at White Hart Lane.

The Tottenham striker has been in superb form so far this season scoring 10 goals in all competitions and he has made it clear that he has no intention of joining up with Redknapp for the fourth time of his career.

“That’s not going to happen. I’m not leaving Tottenham, I love the club and to score goals at a big club like this is fantastic,” Defoe told Sky Sports News.

“If the opportunity comes to leave the club it won’t be happening. I don’t want to leave, I’m a Spurs player – and I’m happy. I’d like to finish my career at Tottenham. I want to achieve something special here – it’s a great time to be at the club.”
