Joe Allen is ready for the challenge to get a place in the line up. Joe has only played two matches this season and then picked up an injury playing against Notts County however he is back from injury and ready to challenge for a spot in the line up. Allen came on as a late substitute in the West Brom game ast weekend.
The Liverpool midfielder is delighted to be back and given the current form of the club he feels that it may be even more difficult to get some time on the pitch. He replaced Steven Gerrard in the 86th minute against the baggies. The stadium rose to it’s feet to applaud Steven Gerrard however the welsh international also received some recognition from the fans welcoming him back after his injury.
