England manager Roy Hodgson has confirmed that Manchester City goalkeeper Joe Hart will not feature against Chile tomorrow night at Wembley.
The English shot-stopper has been in the headlines for the last fortnight after making several errors for City and due to those errors, he has lost his place in their starting XI and it now appears that Hodgson isn’t sure on who his number-one is either.
In his pre-match press conference, Hodgson didn’t say who would play in goal, but he did say that it wouldn’t be Hart.
“I’ll leave it to you to work out which of the other two it will be.”
Asked if both Fraser Forster and John Ruddy could get a half each, he replied: “It’s possible, but I don’t want to get drawn.
