Olympiakos hero Joel Campbell remains keen to make his mark in the Premier League with Arsenal. Campbell last night scored the second goal in Olympiakos’ 2-0 win over Manchester United in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League tie.

The Costan Rican is currently on loan at the club from Arsenal and speaking after the victory, he admitted he still has one eye on hia future back in the Premier League.

He said: “I am still hopeful of playing for Arsenal but I have not been given the chance yet. I hope to keep working at Olympiakos and I am making sure that I take this opportunity.”

Despite the Greek champions well deserved victory over Man United, Campbell has said there is still work to be done in the return leg at Old Trafford in three weeks’ time.

“We played well against a very good team and we weren’t intimidated. There is still a very hard game at Old Trafford and we hope to advance to the next round. Thank God I scored a goal and celebrated it with my father, girlfriend and cousins.

“There are many things I can improve on though. I am 21 and I have to keep working.”

Do you think that Man United can come back and qualify for the next round? Or do you think the Greek champions can hold onto their lead and progress to the last eight?
