Chelsea legend could make mass amount in just one season
Chelsea defender John Terry could be tempted with a move to China, with reports claiming he could earn himself £20million in just one season.
The club legend stunned everyone when he announced that he’d be leaving Stamford Bridge at the end of the season due to the club not offering him a contract extension.
Terry‘s current deal expires at the end of the season but officials from the club have decided not to renew his deal and are willing to let him leave the club on a free transfer.
Financial Backing
It’s reported already that the defender could make a switch to the MLS, but the Chinese Super League is also an option, and according to reports, the financial power in China could tempt the centre-back to Asia.
According to reports, Terry could pocket around £20m from just one season should he move to China, with clubs offering lucrative contracts to high-profile players in recent months.
Terry’s team-mate Ramires has just completed a move over there and is believed to be pocketing £10m-a-year, but it’s already thought that Terry could be offered double that.
