Jorge Mendes has assured Jose Mourinho is solely dedicated to his managerial role at Manchester United and has no intention to leave the club.
Mourinho‘s future has remained under doubt following United’s tough start to the campaign. The Red Devils have struggled for inconsistency on the pitch and are currently winless in the last four matches in the Premier League.
Mourinho’s strategy has been questioned pretty often and amidst the mess, the Portuguese has been linked with a return to Real Madrid. Santiago Solari took the charge permanently following the dismissal of Julen Lopetegui but Florentino Perez could replace him with a big name in near future.
Despite all the concerns Mendes has come out in support of his one of the esteemed clients. He issued a statement: “There have been more rumours of Jose Mourinho leaving Manchester United. It’s totally untrue.
“Jose is very happy at the club and the club is very happy with him. He has a long-term contract with Manchester United and is fully committed to the club in building a solid winning project.”
United are scheduled to host relegation strugglers Fulham and a win against Claudio Ranieri’s side could lead them to the sixth position provided the other results go their way.
