Mourinho: I’d appoint Pulis as manager if I owned a football team

Jose Mourinho has admitted he’d install the West Brom boss if he was in charge of a club.

The Portuguese tactician was on the receiving end of a 3-0 loss at the Hawthorns on Monday night.

And Mourinho believes there is no better man who could guarantee stability in the Premier League.

Mourinho’s Praise for Pulis

He said: “If I own an English club, I sign Tony Pulis.

“If I own an English club, I sign Tony Pulis. It’s as simple as that – he’s a guarantee to achieve what the club wants”

“It’s as simple as that – he’s a guarantee to achieve what the club wants.

“He has never managed a club that wants to be champion, never managed a club that wants top four, he is always managing clubs that want to survive and want stability.

“Tony is mathematics. His record is absolutely amazing.”
