Boss makes drastic rule change around Chelsea training ground

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has reacted to the club’s horrible start to the season by outlawing banter around the club.

This is an attempt to get the players refocused on the task in hand, starting with tomorrow’s Champions League tie with Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Saturday’s 3-1 loss to Everton has left the Blues down near the relegation zone in 17th place, already eleven points behind leaders Manchester City.

It is Chelsea‘s worst start to a season in the top flight since 1986.

Insider Reveals All

According to the Telegraph, a Chelsea insider revealed: ‘There are unhappy players around the place.

“There are no jokes or banter because they recognise it is a serious situation.

“But there has been no crisis meeting, it’s business as usual.

“The players recognise they need to get some results together and it’s time for hard work.”

Rumours of a training ground bust up on Monday between John Terry and Diego Costa have been denied by the club.

Israeli side Maccabi will be looking to heap more misery on Mourinho. They are coached by former Chelsea player Slavisa Jokanovic.
