Former-Chelsea boss finally speaks out about his future
Jose Mourinho has finally spoken out about his future and has confirmed that he’ll be back in management sooner rather than later.
Speculation has been high regarding the Portuguese following his sacking from Chelsea, but he’s spoken in a recent interview and he’s admitted that he’s happy to have some time off.
Since losing his job, Mourinho has been linked with the likes of AS Monaco, AS Roma, Inter Milan, Real Madrid, Manchester United and even a role in the Chinese Super League.
However, Mourinho is adamant that he doesn’t have a job lined up and he’s currently just enjoying his life with his family, but has also confirmed he’ll return soon.
Mourinho Speaks Out
“No, I am not enjoying it. I can have everything I love at the same time,” he told GQ, when asked if he was enjoying his time off.
“I can have my family, I can have my friends, I can have my quiet life, which I also like, and I can have my football… I can have everything together and I don’t need to give up on one of them.
“To be fully happy I need everything, so I go back to football. I think it’s my natural habitat. I have worked since I can remember, and as a manager since 2000.
“I stopped when I left Chelsea in 2007, for a few months, and now is the second time I stop in 15 or 16 years, so it is not a drama.
“But for sure, I will be back soon.”
