Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is confident of keeping both John Terry and Ashley Cole at the club past this Summer.

The veterans are both coming to the end of their one-year deals. and due to being over the age of 30, they will only be offered a 12-month extension due to the club’s policy claiming that over-30’s will only be offered a year extension at a time.

Both players are being tipped with moves away from Stamford Bridge, with Cole linked with a shock move to rivals Liverpool, whilst Terry is attracting interest from abroad, however, Mourinho is confident that he will see them both at the club next season.

In a recent interview, The Blues boss was asked whether the duo had played their last games for Chelsea, and his response was: ‘I don’t know but I don’t think so.’

‘I do my written reports to the board during the season and with the final report at the end where I try to have my point of view, analysing every aspect of the season.’

Cole was seen crying on the pitch at the end of their 0-0 draw with Norwich City last weekend, and reports are suggesting that was down to him believing it was his last ever game as a Chelsea player at The Bridge.
