Jose Mourinho to cut holiday short to start United business

New manager wants training ground changes and talks with Fergie

New Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho is ending his holiday early to ensure he makes a flying start to life at his new club.

Mourinho is currently in the Maldives taking a break before the busy new season begins.

But it’s being reported that he’s raring to come home early and get started with his work.

His first jobs will be to hold talks with Sir Alex Ferguson and tear down the cameras at United’s training ground.

Mourinho is tasked with getting the club back into contention for major silverware after three dismal campaigns under David Moyes and Van Gaal.

United won the FA Cup last season haven’t challenged for the Premier League title since Fergie’s retirement in May 2013.

It’s claimed Mourinho will head back to England a week earlier than planned in order to lay down a blueprint for success.
