Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho believes his side are finally finding their feet in the Champions League, after their shock home defeat to FC Basel put them in an uncomfortable position.

However, since that loss at Stamford Bridge, The Blues have picked up six-points thanks to two impressive away performances against Steau Bucharest and Schalke 04.

After watching his side walk past the German club last night, Mourinho insists that he is feeling calm now and positive about qualifying into the knockout stages.

“We are in a good position to qualify and we’ll try to finish first,” he said.

“I told the players after the match against Basel we did garbage and we have to clean it,” said Mourinho.

“We did it in the best possible way – two away wins and leading the group.

“Because of my experience I was not in hell after the first game and I’m not in heaven today. I’m calm.”
