The two had words following Everton’s 3-1 win at Goodison Park
Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho aimed a rant at Everton boss Roberto Martinez following their game on Saturday lunchtime.
Mourinho wasn’t happy with the media duties being delayed because his side had to catch a plane back to London following their game on Merseyside.
However, whilst Martinez was conducting a newspaper briefing, Mourinho went over to him and had it out with him about the delayed conferences.
War of Words
“Roberto, next time tell me go before you because we have to travel,” said a spikey Mourinho.
Despite the accusation, Martinez defended himself and responded with: “We don’t control that Jose, I don’t control that.”
Mourinho was less than impressed and ended the conversation by saying ‘f*****g hell.’
The Blues boss then disappeared to do his own media duties, which left Martinez with the papers when he said: “When he beat us 6-3 ([last season] he was such a nice man, I prefer him like that.”
Their relationship was tested throughout the summer due to Mourinho’s interest in John Stones.
