Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho has made another dig at on-loan Everton striker Romelu Lukaku by telling him that he controls his future, and not him.
The war-of-words between the two Chelsea-men started earlier last week after the Belgium striker revealed that Mourinho hasn’t contacted him in two months. This made Mourinho respond by saying that the striker did not reveal why he left on-loan in the Summer.
After Everton’s 4-0 victory against Stoke City, Lukaku gave an interview and he admitted that he wouldn’t mind staying at Goodison Park permanently, but the Chelsea boss has reacted by saying that it’s up to him where his future lies.
‘Maybe there is a new rule in football where when the season finishes every player is able to decide their own future.’ Mourinho said.
