Eden Hazard hasn’t signed a new deal at Chelsea just yet because Jose Mourinho wants to buy a nice pen for the occasion.
The Belgium is currently in talks with the West London club regarding a new long-term deal, but despite months of negotiations, nothing has been signed yet, sparking speculation surrouding the winger’s future.
Real Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain have both been linked with a move for Hazard and with him failing to sign a new deal, there are concerns surrounding his future, but Mourinho has confirmed that it’s nothing to do with interest elsewhere.
‘I am buying a nice pen,’ Mourinho told Chelsea’s official website. ‘I need a bit of time to go to Sloane Street and buy a proper pen. I just need time to buy the pen and after that I think there is not a long time to go!’
The Special One clearly wants a suitable pen for the big moment.
