The Spanish International has been constantly linked with Real Madrid

Manchester United signed Goalkeeper David De Gea from Atletico Madrid in 2011 to replace Edwin Van Der Sar, who retired form active football that year only. Sir Alex Ferguson missed a League Cop match to travel to Spain to watch De Gea in action before deciding to sign him up.

The 27 year old had a rocky start in England and was criticized for that but since then he has established himself as a key player for the club. He has been the best player for Manchester United for the last 3-4 years and has developed into arguably the Best Goalkeeper in the world.

The Spain International has been one of the best players for the Red Devils making numerous important saves and leading the race for Golden Gloves with 17 clean sheets in the Premier League. His form has led to continuous links with Real Madrid.

De Gea was close to joining the La Liga giants in 2015 but a deal never went through. The club is still linked with him as Zinedine Zidane wants a new goalkeeper to replace Keylor Navas this summer.

But Jose Mourinho is not worried about him leaving and claims that he will not join Real. When asked if there was any possibility of De Gea not being at United next season, Mourinho said: “No chance.”

This will be a huge boost for the Premier League giants as they planning to build a team for future and De Gea is a crucial player of that team.
