Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has dismissed reports linking him to a return to Real Madrid. Things look pretty bad for Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui with the club at 7th position in La Liga. It seems that Lopetegui will soon receive the sack unless he manages to turn things around at the club.

recent reports claimed that Jose Mourinho was Real Madrid’s No.1 choice to replace Julen Lopetegui. Mourinho already coached Madrid once from 2010-2013 during which he helped the club win three trophies.

However, Mourinho dismissed all reports linking him to Real Madrid. Speaking ahead of Manchester United’s Champions League encounter against Juventus, Mourinho said, “I am happy here, I am happy see out my contract and I would like to stay after my contract runs out. All I am thinking about is Manchester United.”

Jose Mourinho praised the Juventus side, saying that with Ronaldo, the club has a good chance of lifting the Champions League. He said, “Juventus have a lot to offer and an extra year of experience with the same coach, the same structure, for the last five years or so they have been contenders to win the title. They have been in a couple of finals, they won seven titles on the trot and now they have a really special player. As far as I am concerned they are more than contenders.”

Manchester United take on Juventus tomorrow at Old Trafford.
