Diego Costa, Eden Hazard, Oscar and Nemanja Matic are still expected to be sold

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is still prepared to sell four of his first-team stars in the January transfer window.

The Blues boss revealed in his weekly press conference that he doesn’t expect to be signing anyone in the New Year window, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be selling players.

According to recent reports, four of Chelsea‘s first-team could be put up for sale in order to raise funds for the summer transfer window.

With the season looking like a write-off due to the poor start, Mourinho is reportedly ready to prepare for next season already and is ready to sell players in the New Year.

Four Out

Eden Hazard, Diego Costa, Oscar and Nemanja Matic are four players that could be sold, with all four of them under-performing so far this season.

Chelsea have been linked with signing some big names in big deals, including Antoine Griezmann, Gonzalo Higuain, John Stones and more recently, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Mourinho will look to sell first before reinvesting the money into his first-team squad.

Hazard and Costa are wanted in Spain, while Oscar is wanted by Serie A giants Juventus.
