Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho is ready to sell striker Fernando Torres, so that he can make way for AS Monaco striker Radamel Falcao.
The Blues boss watched Falcao’s Columbia take on Belgium during the week, and it is apparent that he was impressed with what he saw.
It has also been revealed that during his trip to watch the game, Mourinho made contact with Falcao’s management team, but it isn’t known what was discussed or how the talks went.
If the deal is to go ahead, it is thought that Mourinho will offer the French side a lump sum and also throw in Torres as part of the deal.
The Spanish striker hasn’t ever really hit-top form at Stamford Bridge after his £50million move from Liverpool, and if Mourinho gets his way, it could be his final season in London.
