Jose Mourinho has insisted he wants to return to football within the next summer.
The Portuguese manager hasn’t taken a new job since being ousted from Manchester United back in December. He has been linked with a number of clubs but has rejected every offer including a return to his native country with Benfica.
It had been expected Florentino Perez would be kind enough to hand the Real Madrid mantle to Mourinho following a under whelming start to the season but the return of Zinedine Zidane has spoiled his plans it seems.
The three time Premier League winner has made it clear he is very keen to return to management in the summer and it would be in his own terms. “What I have in mind is that I would like to be back in the summer, in June, for a new club, for a new pre-season.
“I know exactly what I don’t want. That’s the reason why I had to say already to three or four different offers. I had to say no.
“And I know what I want, in terms of not a specific club but the nature of the job, the dimension of the job, I know what I want.”
