Antonio Conte to give Colombian chance at Chelsea
Juan Cuadrado’s career at Chelsea might not be over just yet as Antonio Conte is prepared to give him a second chance to impress at Stamford Bridge.
The Colombian joined Chelsea back in January 2014, but after failing to impress in just six months, Jose Mourinho decided to loan him out to Serie A champions Juventus for the 2015/2016 season.
Cuadrado has re-found his top-form back in Italy, where he first burst onto the scenes with Fiorentina, and he’s admitted that he’s open to staying in Turin for the foreseeable future.
However, according to reports, Conte could give him another chance at Chelsea should he get the manager’s job in the summer.
Cuadrado Second Chance
It’s widely reported that the Italian will become Chelsea’s next permanent manager, and if he does get the role, he’s prepared to give Cuadrado a clean slate at Stamford Bridge.
Despite Juve wanting to extend Cuadrado’s stay by turning the loan deal into a permanent one, Conte is reportedly not interested in selling the winger as he wants to see him at Chelsea before making a decision.
