Colombian expected to leave Chelsea before window shuts

Chelsea winger Juan Cuadrado is set to join Serie A champions Juventus on a season-long loan, according to reports.

The Colombian has failed to impress at Stamford Bridge since arriving back in January from Fiorentina, and he’s now set for a temporary return to Italy just seven months after leaving.

Cuadrado Struggles at Chelsea

Cuadrado spent most of his time on the bench in the Premier League, but when Jose Mourinho did use him, he failed to impress.

The 27-year-old is already behind the likes of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Willian in the pecking order at Chelsea, and with Pedro set to join from FC Barcelona, his first-team status would be further damaged if he did stay.

However, according to reports, Cuadrado could be set for a temporary switch to Juve for the forthcoming season, with a view to making it permanent this time next year.
