Colombian seeking exit after just five months

Chelsea midfielder Juan Cuadrado already wants to quit the club after failing to settle in England and in the Premier League.

The Colombian international joined The Blues during the January transfer window after Fiorentina agreed to sell him for ÂŁ22million. The deal also saw Mohamed Salah go the opposite direction on a six-month loan deal.

Despite spending over ÂŁ20m on the winger, Jose Mourinho hasn’t used Cuadrado regularly in his first-team and has used him for of an impact player from the substitute bench.

However, after signing him, Mourinho did state that the best of the winger would come next season after he’s settled and got used to the English style of football.

Cuadrado to make Shock Exit?

The only issue for Chelsea is that he may not want to be at Stamford Bridge come next season.

According to reports in Italy, Cuadrado is already seeking a move back to Serie A and back to Italy after failing to settle in his new country and with his new team.

SportItalia are suggesting the 27-year-old has not settled after completing the January move and after recent stick from English pundits, he is already eyeing a return to Italy.

Summer Activity

Chelsea are expected to have a busy Summer despite winning the title this season, and it’s reported that Mourinho will sell a few stars first before replacing them adequately.

Oscar and Cuadrado are two potentially on the outgoing list, with Antoine Griezmann and Gareth Bale linked with stunning moves to The Bridge.
