Julian Draxler insists Paul Pogba can be stopped and Paris Saint Germain do have the resources to keep him at bay from creating much damage.
Following the arrival of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, United have undergone a massive revival and Paul Paogba has been central of this revolution. The French midfielder had faced severe criticism for his lacklustre performance under Jose Mourinho but has been the man in form for the Red Devils.
With his brace against Fulham the World Cup winner has already registered his career best goal tally (11) in a single season and is likely to take charge on Tuesday as United are likely to start their European campaign freshly.
Despite missing a number of key players Draxler is confident his fellow players will keep Pogba under the wraps. “I’ve known Paul for a long time.
“I’ve played against him when we played Germany vs France. Sometimes we managed to stop him, we have managed to stop him on a few occasions.
“He’s a great player, a top player with lots of qualities and the kind of player who excels in a top game in the Champions League.
“But we’ve got some good players, who I think will be capable of stopping him.”
