The news has put Arsenal on red alert, with the Gunners extremely interested in a move
Julian Draxler has claimed he wants out of Wolfsburg, despite his club claiming he is happy to stay.
The player himself has today spoken out and said that the German side are wrong to say he is happy in the side – in fact, he has claimed he wants to leave and that they have known about his intent to leave for three weeks now.
This comes after claims from the Bundesliga side that their young star was happy in Germany and would be staying where he is despite interest from Arsenal.
Impressed at the Euros
The 22-year old put in several good displays for his country during the Euros this summer after a decent campaign for Wolfsburg during the 2015/16 campaign. It’s no wonder his club are eager to keep hold of him.
However, this latest revelation though clearly shows that the attacking midfielder wants out and quite fancies a move to England and the Gunners will be more than happy to oblige and bring him to the Emirates Stadium.
Boss Arsene Wenger has been desperate to sign him for weeks and now Draxler has revealed he wants out, the Frenchman will likely make an official move for the German international in the hopes that he can bring him to the Premier League before the new season kicks off.
