Manager wants to meet with player’s agents for informal chats
Jurgen Klopp hasn’t been announced as the Liverpool manager just yet, but according to reports, he’s already set up meetings with some of the agents around the club.
The German is expected to be announced as the new boss at Anfield before the end of the week, replacing Brendan Rodgers who was sacked on Sunday following a 1-1 draw with Everton at Goodison Park.
Klopp has been Liverpool‘s number-one target since the dismissal of Rodgers and as reported earlier, the former-Borussia Dortmund manager is expected to fly into England today.
Informal Meetings
Klopp will hold formal talks with Ian Ayre and officials from FSG before officially accepting the job, but according to reports, he’s already arranged some meetings around the club.
The manager wants to meet up with some of the agents who represent the Liverpool stars in order to have informal chats with them.
It’s not documented what the discussions will be about, but Klopp is keen to get to know the agents who are involved around Anfield.
