Manager doesn’t plan on raiding former-club
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has revealed he DOESN’T plan on raiding his former-club for players in the next few transfer windows.
The German has taken over at Anfield following Brendan Rodgers‘ dismissal, and it was expected that Klopp would go back to his old club, Borussia Dortmund, to raid them for their stars.
Marco Reus, Ilkay Gundogan and Pierre Emerick Aubameyang have all been mentioned in the press since his arrival in Merseyside, as has Bayern Munich star Robert Lewandowski, but Klopp has stated he has no desires of bringing his former-players over to the Premier League.
No Intentions
Dortmund‘s chief executive Hans-Joachim Watzke also believes Klopp won’t raid his former club either.
“I am 100 per cent certain about that. He would never approach any players behind our back.
“We are simply too close for things like that to happen. We have been through too much together.”
