Since joining Liverpool last summer, Salah has taken the Premier League by storm. The Egyptian has scored 39 goals in all competitions in his debut season for the English giants .He is also the leading goal scorer in the Premier League with 29 goals, 4 ahead of second placed Harry Kane.
The 25 year old can become just the third Liverpool player to score 40 or more goals in a season. His heroics have taken Liverpool to the Champions League semi-final after beating Manchester City over the two legs and they are also at 3rd place in the Premier League.
Salah’s goal-scoring form has seen him linked to a big money move to Real Madrid this summer. Madrid are already planning to sign stellar signings this summer and Salah is on their list.
But Jurgen Klopp is confident that Salah will stay at Liverpool next season. He told German publication Bild, translated by Sky Sports: “I know that Mo feels very comfortable here, and he knows that our style of play suits him very well, so I am not worried about a transfer.”
Even Salah is enjoying life at Liverpool. He told CNN: “There’s something very special about playing for Liverpool. The Champions League nights are special for the fans too. You can feel it on the streets.
“The atmosphere in that first game against Manchester City was the first time I had really seen something like that.
“When we saw the draw, everyone knew it would be a difficult game, but I said we had to be positive and win. That’s what we did.”
