LIVERPOOL boss Jurgen Klopp is still eyeing a move for highly rated Fulham’s wonderkid left back left-back Ryan Sessegnon.
The Championship side have confirmed that Sessegnon will pen his first professional contract when he celebrates his 17th birthday next month.
But that won’t put off Klopp who has had Sessegnon as a target all season, but has faced stiff competition for the youngsters services from the likes of Arsenal, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur.
Sessegnon, 16, is currently only on a scholarship contract but has been a key player for Championship promotion chasers Fulham this season, with some impressive performances.
Fulham will demand around £15 million before considering allowing the youngster to leave, with Sessegnon seen as one of the countries most exciting young talents.
Liverpool have been linked with a lot of big names over the last few weeks – but this type of transfer is one that could see them get their hands on a young star who will only improve in quality, and could well be a big name for the side in the future.
It is no wonder that they are unshaken by the potentially large asking price.
