Klopp eager to land Inaki Williams
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is reported to be interested in signing £44million-rated Athletic Bilbao Inaki Williams.
The 22-year-old is valuated at €50million by the Spanish side, after having scored 16 goals in 70 appearances for the club.
He’s already had a call-up to the Spain national squad, making his debut in May this year in a 3-1 win vs Bosnia.
However, Klopp will have a fight on his hands to land the striker, with city-rivals Everton also thought to be sniffing around the striker, who, with the investments of Farhad Moshiri, can now also afford the fee.
Should Williams come to Anfield, he will have a battle on his hands to nail down a starting XI place, with Liverpool not short of attacking talent. Sadio Mane, Daniel Sturridge, Danny Ings, Divock Origi, Roberto Firmino and Phillipe Coutinho are all fighting for similar positions in attack.
