Jurgen Klopp Thinks They Are Yet To Reach The top Level

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp feels they are yet to hit the top level despite having a brilliant start to the season. Liverpool are topping the Premier League table after winning all of their first four games in the top flight.

The Reds had a very productive summer transfer window as they roped in Fabinho, Alisson, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri to overhaul the team. Liverpool are touted to be one of the title contenders this season and their performance in the first four matches speaks volumes.

The Reds have displayed a solid all round performance as they have netted nine goals and digested only one so far. But the German gaffer isn’t happy with the shape of the team and wants to be at the top level.

“The players are not at their top level yet. That is because we are in the early part of the season. It is normal.

“Everybody should know we have a lot of work to do still, but if they don’t then I have told them. When you win four times it sounds really crazy to say this, but it is still part of the pre-season for a very long time after the summer.

“From mid-September, we play every three days. So we do the work now, and this is how it is – it is normal that you are not quite at 100 per cent in the games.”
