The Englishman could be set for an unexpected destination.

Juventus superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has reportedly decided he wants Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho next summer.

The England international has emerged as one of the most exciting young talents on the planet in recent times and certainly looks like he could go some way to emulating Ronaldo as one of the major talents of his generation. He is well-set to become one of the hottest transfer properties next summer, given his meteoric rise in world football in the past couple of seasons.

Don Balon claims that Manchester United and Barcelona are the current leaders in the transfer race to sign him – however, Ronaldo has also reportedly gotten aware of Sancho’s progress and that he has asked Juventus to sign them, even if it will cost them about €150 million.

Barcelona had apparently been following the England international for a few months now, and they even seemed to have closed in on him of late. However, various sources have suggested that the Blaugrana cannot promise him that he will be a guaranteed starter in the team all the time.

That being said, the 19-year-old has a bigger chance of moving away from the La Liga giants, and according to the reports, he may even sign with Juventus, if Cristiano Ronaldo and the Bianconeri can promise him an adequate amount of first-team opportunities. The Italian giants have been utterly dominant in Serie A for much of the last decade and boast a squad full of world class talent that could challenge for the Champions League.

Sancho has also been linked with the Red Devils and makes sense as the kind of player Ole Gunnar Solskjaer might want to rebuild his side around. Sancho would surely be an upgrade on the likes of Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial in attack after disappointing starts to this season.
