Premier League rivals Chelsea and Manchester United have been given an enormous transfer boost as Juventus seem to be tagetting central midfielders to replace Paul Pogba and Arturo Vidal.  The Turin side are apparently targetting Inter’s Freddy Guarin to replace one of the two midfielders who look set to be on their way to the Premier League.

The side from Turin offered Mirko Vucinic in exchange for Guarin in January however the move was blocked by Inter chiefs, however Juve are back in for the Colombian who had an impressive World Cup campaign. The Serie A champions know there is increased interest in Pogba and Vidal and they have identified Guarin as a potential replacement for one of the duo.

Inter have told Juventus that they will have to pay ÂŁ14 million for the 28 year old midfielder if they want him to pulling on the famous black and white stripes of Juventus alongside Carlos Tevez and Andrea Pirlo next season. Director general Beppe Morrata is considering his next move in terms of Guarin.

Mourinho and Van Gaal should be encouraged by comments made by Pavel Nedved, the Juventus director has stated, ‘Certainly, if there were a high bid for them, we’d have to think about it but we don’t want to sell our champions.’

Mourinho and Van Gaal will have to weigh up what they believe to be a high bid to try and force Juventus’ arm and get their men.
