Juventus supremo Massimiliano Allegri has gone on record to make it clear he DOES NOT want Liverpool striker Mario Balotelli.
Reports in the Italian media today suggest that he has been planning a £14million January swoop for the troubled striker. However, despite once coaching Balotelli at Milan, Allegri was quick to announce he has no plans for a reunion.
Allegri said: “I think this is a made up story.
“Balotelli has done very well with me but he belongs to Liverpool and he is not a player that can arrive at Juventus.”
Despite Balotelli not yet scoring in the Premier League, his agent Mino Raiola insists he will come good at Anfield.
He said: “I’m not worried. Mario has been out for almost 10 weeks with an injury and you cannot judge him until he is 100 per cent fit.
“It’s not easy to go abroad and adapt quickly to a new team.”
Well, I don’t know about you, but surely the majority of Liverpool fans will think Mario has had enough time to settle? If he doesn’t start scoring soon he could be on the receiving end of a whip-round and a one-way ticket out of Anfield. Let’s hope he turns it around.
