Juventus enter race for Lukaku

Romelu Lukaku has confirmed that Juventus are interested in him. He spent last season on loan with Everton and it looks likely he will be sent out again next season.

This has led to a huge interest from clubs across Europe, who are all hoping to land the striker on a loan or permanent deal this summer. Everton are trying to keep hold of the Belgian, who spent last year on loan at Goodison Park, while Atletico Madrid, Inter Milan, Tottenham, Roma and even Real Madrid have all had reported interest in the 21-year old.

Now, Juve have entered the running in the race to sign him, with Lukaku himself admitting there is interest. However, the forward has declared he will only decide on his future after the World Cup. He said to Sky Sports Italia: “I’m proud that Juventus are interested in me but I’m thinking only about Belgium right now.”

After the World Cup however, Lukaku will have to think about his future and that very future could lie in Serie A with the current league title holders.
