The Italian giants will move for Matic if they miss out on Gundogan
Juventus will make a bid for Nemanja Matic if they fail to sign Ilkay Gundogan, according to reports.
The Italian side are desperate to sign the 25-year old but after having a bid rejected, they have drawn up a list of alternatives in case a move for the Dortmund man fails to happen.
One of the names on the list is Nemanja Matic, who could be available this month, with Guus Hiddink ready to overhaul the Blues squad in a bid to get them back to winning ways.
Pogba on his way out?
Moutinho from Monaco and Soriano from Sampdoria are two other names on the list but Matic is the man they want the most.
Juve are keen to wrap up a deal for a new central midfielder, not only because they feel they could improve in the centre of the pitch but also in case they lose Paul Pogba. Pogba is the subject of a ton of interest from several top European sides and the player’s agent even claimed that a deal could be done if a large bid was made.
With this news, Juve are eager to recruit some new midfielders and Matic could be one of them.
