Liverpool and Atletico Madrid both interested in Argentine
Serie A champions Juventus have slapped a £15million price-tag on Carlos Tevez’s head, amid interest from Liverpool and Atletico Madrid.
The Argentinian striker is considering his future, with the two clubs interested in signing him, but The Old Lady are standing firm and want at least £15m for the 31-year-old.
It was understood that Tevez would return to Argentina this Summer after verbally agreeing to leave Juve earlier this year. However, those plans have seemingly changed, and the forward could look to secure one last move in Europe before he returns home.
Tevez wants to play for Boca Juniors, his boyhood club, one last time before he retires, and it was thought he would rejoin them this year.
However, he seems to have changed his mind, leaving Liverpool and Atletico in pole position to land the forward.
Tevez has won numerous Serie A titles since joining the Turin-based club and picked up a Champions League Runners-Up medal this year after falling just short in Europe.
The Argentine is seeking one last challenge in Europe before he returns home to end his career and it’s thought both Liverpool and Atletico are keen on signing him.
Tevez has played in England before, with West Ham United, Manchester City and Manchester United, but he is yet to test himself in Spain.
