Juventus rejected offers from Chelsea and United

Reports from Italy say that Premier league giants Manchester United and Chelsea were heavily interested in both Arturo Vidal and former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.

Guiseppe Marotta told Processo del lunedi “Yes, absolutely, some offers arrived from abroad, from top European clubs but we decided not to indulge them. We were in a position not to accept and we did with great awareness of the fact that we are talking about two very important components of our squad.”

Vidal was involved in an altercation outside a nightclub in Turin last Friday. This led to him being fined £80,000 by Juventus which could fuel a move to Manchester United in January as the club are still very much interested in signing him.
