Juventus rule out selling Paul Pogba

Italian champions Juventus have confirmed that midfielder Paul Pogba is not for sale at any price, amid reports that Arsenal are interested.

The former Manchester United midfielder has shined in Seria A and has even forced his way into the French set-up, despite never impressing during his days in England.

The 20-year-old is now a first-team regular for Juve and his performances in Italy caught the eye of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, who is desperate to bolster up his midfield after injuries to Mikel Arteta, Abou Diaby and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.

However, Wenger’s summer transfer window hasn’t been great at all and it’s now got even worse after Juve’s general director revealed that Pogba is not for sale.

“Forget about Pogba,” Marotta told Tuttosport.

“We do not have the slightest intention of listening to any offer which may arrive for our midfielder.”
