Juventus have set an August 6 deadline for Arturo Vidal to sort out his future. The midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Man United this summer and also to Liverpool in recent weeks.
While reports today are suggesting that he has given his word to Louis Van Gaal that he will be moving to Old Trafford, any deal is yet to be formally agreed. The Italian side have now handed the Chile man an August 6 deadline to sort out his future, giving the Red Devils just eight days to negotiate and finalise a move for Vidal.
The Turin side are eager to get any potential deal agreed soon so that they have enough time to bring in replacements before the September 1 deadline. Ideally, they would prefer to sign any new players before their pre-season tour, which starts on August 6. However, that may be quite tricky to pull off now and they may have to wait until they return to Italy.
Reports in Spain are claiming a deal has already been agreed to send Vidal to Man United, for a fee of £48m and that the remaining eight days can be spent finalising the deal.
